Hello from Kansas
« on: March 10, 2016, 05:41:17 PM »
New guy from Leavenworth, Kansas I have had a few 73-87 Chevy trucks. I now have a 1987 Chevy 4X4 all stock (but exhaust and lift) 305, TBI, auto, 140,000 miles. Bought it in 03 with 88,000 miles and was my daily driver from 03 to 07 and again for 10 to 13. It's in need of some help so I will have a lot of questions and need some advice.

Will post pictures of my 87 and my 85 I had a few year ago and sold.

Welcome to 73-87ChevyTrucks.com

Nice looking truck.  I have a 1987 too... always get a lot of compliments on it.  It's a blast to  drive too...

Real nice group of guys here on this forum.  Not like some forums where everyone tells you to use the search button but genuine nice people and real wrench turners too.

I always get great help here from Chris and all the rest of the regulars.

Welcome! .... from just down the road in Lawrence!
If you are like me, you will find good people with good advice here.
I'm working on a 1985 c30 Dually w/dump bed that belonged to my dad, nicknamed "Ursula".
It doesn't look near as nice as yours, but is almost 100% functional.

ThunderLizard: Thanks but it's not that nice ( it was when I bought it ) it has a lot of rust in it. you just can't see it in the pictures.
