testing proportioning valve

I was wondering is there any way of testing my proportioning valve to make sure it is working properly? I just replaced the rear wheel cylinders and brakes seem to work fine but I just want to make sure everything else is working ok. any thought?

from what i understand it either works or its tripped. so if youre able to bleed your brakes then yes its working fine.
