73 auto to manual transmission

have a 73 chevy 3/4 ton 4 speed 4x4 and the cab is pretty rusted. i have found another one of the same year the only problem is that it has
a automatic in it and the rusted out cab i have now is a manual. would it be hard to convert the automatic cab to a manual transmission
the rusted out cab has every thing i would need. what would be some troubles i would face? any help would be awsome.

I believe the high hump will unbolt. Set it on the other floor and mark it. Cut out the low hump and bolt the other one in. If you have a cut off wheel it won't be that hard. Beware of a steady stream of sparks starting the sound deadener (on the firewall) on fire.

The center transmission hump, there is a "high" hump and a low hump, low hump was only for 2wd automatic transmissions,
2wd manual transmission and all 4wd trucks received the high hump

I agree that removing the hump and marking is the best way

Two wheel drive automatic, and 3 speed manual transmission trucks got the low center hump.
All SM465 2 wheel drive trucks got the high hump center floor.
All 4x4 trucks standard shift, and automatics have the high center hump floor.
You will need to swap out the pedal assembly, and switch your steering column. Or remove the shifter pin, and remove the shift lever. If you do that you will still have the safety neutral switch operated by the shift collar.
The automatic center hump has a stamped mark where the shifter hole goes.
