Body service/repair manual
« on: May 02, 2006, 12:29:00 pm »

Anyone know of a good one, and for a good price? :D  I need to realign my doors, front fenders and hood and would like a good source of information on how to do all of that, where the bolts are, tips/tricks, shimming, etc.

Much appreciated.

Check with Helm's  www.helminc.com

Doors align with the hinges on the front (on bolt is backwards under the dash)  Stricker sorta aligns the rear.

Fenders are adjusted with shims on the top of the cowl and above the top hinge and the bottom of the cab for the rear.  Front is adjusted via the core support.  Some holes could possibly need elongating...

Thanks very much, Chris. I appreciate the info. That, and with another post on here about hanging doors that has pics, maybe I can tackle it myself rather than pay the body shop to do it. I hate paying money for straight labor on something relatively easy I could do myself with some time, knowledge and patience.
