Need help replacing old steering column with an early 90`s one. Where it connects to the shift rod is on opposite side. Is there a way to move this or shifter rod.this is is my daily driver so I need to get this in somehow.

Column will not work, easier to find a correct one, they are pretty plentiful.  I picked one up at a swap meet for $40 with a steering wheel.  The steering wheel is what I wanted

84-87 and 88-91 Suburbans all will work
