78 c10 syphon out old gas

New here,
1st question.
Can gas be syphoned out of these tanks in 78?
Been sitting about a year.would like to get old gas out

Welcome to the site.
The gas that's been sitting in the carb is as old as the gas in the tank.  I would think 1 year old gas will burn just fine.
