« on: October 09, 2006, 12:05:00 am »
I currently have a set of vortec heads on my 350 engine that have been upgraded with z28 springs to accept a larger lift and have less that 10k miles on them and i am trying to figure out a resonable asking price for them as i am upgrading.  Any ideas??

Vortec heads are a hard sell do to cracking issues and the cost to improving them.  I would say  250 bucks each used.

I just bought a set, and gave $200.00 for both heads. They are off a 98 truck with 27,000 miles. You can buy new bare castings pretty cheap now. I think for about $270.00 each. That sucks if your trying to sell a set, huh?
