ok while messing around with my carb ive broken off my 4 prong tvs.can this be removed and plugged or is it something i need?also does this tvs have something to do with the transmission?thx

I don't know what type of vehicle you drive/yr/model etc...but the TVS is something you can buy at a good auto parts store. I'd replace it.
depending on your vehicle, it does control the vacuum advance, egr etc... It should not control the tranny--but, the leak in vacuum will effect your modulator if you have an automatic. Your modulator should hook up to the vacuum on the intake, right behind the carb.
