Axel Flip with No C Notch

Has anyone done an axel flip and didn't do the C Notch ?
This ol Girl is retired and will not be worked anymore (i have 2 more Chevy Trucks for working, hauling, pulling).

I did a flip in addition to adding a lowering shackle and I didn't notch. Truck is not going to be hauling anything anymore and I only get the slightest amount of frame contact on severe bumps/potholes I don't see till the last second.

Axle flip and 1" shackles here and no issues so far. I do not carry anythign in the bed but I still have about 3-4" between the frame and axle.

Thank y'all for the replies!
I decided the axel flip with the 6" drop might be too much/low.
I went with having the leaf springs dearched 4 1/2" and really like the look so far. It brought the bed down nicely
Going to drop the front 3 1/2" and that should put the "rake" back in her
