Trackbars or not
« on: April 07, 2006, 12:14:00 pm »
Hi Guys, the question i have is this; i have a 79 GMC Jimmy 4x4, with a 10inch suspension lift, and a 3inch body lift. i got rid of the worthless swampers it had on it and now have mickey thompson baja ATZ radilas that are 38/15.50R/15, i've eliminated about 75% of the wandering, and now i'm thinkin about fabbing up some trackbars front and rear to take away some more of the tracking, and then getting rid of the wasted shocks on the rear. i'm hoping that with all of this, i should be able to make it stable enough that the wife wont freak out when she drives it. what do you guys think?. thanks.
Brian

You have a brave wife to even consider driving it. I have a 3/4 ton suburban 4x4 and she thinks that is too big to drive---she'll drive only if she haves to.
