Headers are Hooker super comps. The engine is a roller 383 with  one of those Trick Flow Kits that comes with the cam, and 23 degree heads.

Man, you're gonna love the 383!

I have no regrets when I installed my 383 stroker.  Combine a 350 with a 400 crank/flexplate/balancer and you got TORQUE.

Whoa, thats exactly what I want for my truck. Nothing crazy. Just reliable and powerful. Did you build the motor yourself or buy it from somewhere? What are you using for induction?

I had the short block put together at an engine shop here in Dallas, then brought it home and had a mechanic buddy of mine set the heads, valves, intake, ect. Induction? dont know what you mean?

Induction meaning the intake manifold and carb.

It's a Victor Jr. Edelbrock intake with a Edelbreock 750 Electric choke carb.
