Question and Pics 56k...erm..

Hey All, The pics (they better work...) are of my 81 C10 that I got from an old farmer...It was never driven on the road, just had farm plates, But, in 2002 he blew the I6 250 that was in it, because he was deaf and couldnt hear. So I got it from his son when I was home on leave for Christmas.

When I came home again for a few weeks, I had a brandnew GM Crate 350, a rebuilt SM465, Edelbrock 600CFM carb, Edelbrock Intake, and Hooker SuperComp headers. I had to work day and night with my Dad and Brother (also Military), but we managed to get it running (yar!)..But without the exhaust lol. (Exhaust is Flowmaster Super 40s (x2)).

Now all that is left is rebuilding the brakes, getting new wheels/tires, front suspension, and interior and body work.

But heres my question, It has the Single Headlight Front Support on it, If I bought the Quad Headlight support off this site, will it fit? And will the new grill (quad also) fit?
And is this Radiator Support welded in? or is bolted in?

Im just trying to make it as easy as I can for my Dad and Brother, I live in NY, but am based in WA state, and I only get to come home once every 6 months, and in 2 months Im deploying to Iraq, So I wont be home for at least a year.  and there the ones working on it.

On the last pic, on the old motor..you can see where the connecting rod blew apart, and dented the oil pan like a BB gun hit lol

All 81-87/91 core supports are interchangable and they unbolt. You will need to splice into you existing wiring or get a new harness, for the 4 headlight setup, from a donor truck.

Will a Grill off like an 85 work? I like the grills on the older styles (82-up), better than the 81. Did the pics work?

81-82 had the same grill, 81 had single light, 82 had dual headlights. Yes an 85 grill will work. Yes pictures worked.

Yes, it will fit.  You just need the Quad headlight setup to use with it.  All Quad light trucks from 81-87 used the same core support.

ALL 81-87 trucks had the stacked quad headlight setup as an option.  Single (dual) headlights were standard.
