wish me luck
« on: December 18, 2006, 09:12:00 pm »
i am in process of installing a late '80's TPI unit on my '80. has anyone done this before? i bought a kit to do it so far it has gone good, but all i have done was removed dist, intake and carb and got the firewall drilled and wires ran from inside to the engine bay. during all this i am also installing a Dakota Digital dash. anyone have any advice on these two ventures? when i get all this in i've got a dashes direct dash pad to put in, i know all the bad publicity these things have but i am determined to make it look good. i'm not a perfectionist but i am real good at southern engineering so i think i can make it look good. when i do the pad i will take pictures and tell how to make it look good if at all possible.
