All in all it is overkill for a 3/4 ton but it is my wifes truck and I can't talk her out of the motor.

just remember, it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission...

I gotta come home sometime, and I am kinda partial to my side of the bed. I got it broke in real good, and the couch hurts too much, Besides, she did say I can build myself one, and didn't say much when I mentioned a 496 stroker motor. She said as long as I leave her truck alone, I could do what I wanted. Soooo, I mentioned a 572, she said cool. The next day, she informed me $12K was a little much. I knew I should of ordered one before she knew the cost. LOL. Oh well, as soon as I can get to my block in the storage shed, I will be ordering parts. It will just take a little longer, so I have to work on my patience. She said the 496 is still ok. Yippee!!!!
