hey if i got 78 doors would every thing fit in them from my 73-76 doors

Hotrod, The 73-76 window regulators have a shorter crank pin on the manual window units, also the interior trim panels are shorter on the older ones, so you would have several large holes showing below the panel. Otherwise the rest will work. Lorne

well you know about my truck it is messed up so my vin says that it is a 78 so why don't i just make it one all i need to do is change the dash and doors and door panels and a few more things and it would look and be a 78 every thing would match how different was the 73-78 cabs

Cabs are the same, doors are not the same.  you really want to get a complete door from the 78 as there are hole in the bottom for the longer door panel and they stick out further so the cranks in the 73-76's will bow the 77-91 panels in, significantly.
