Question ? No Headlights =(

hey there guys. Hows life treating everyone reading this? just being friendly.. soo anyways, i've got an 86 Silverado, No headlights or running lights , but my brake lights and signals are working? any ideas? any helpw ould be greatly appreciated and if you need more information please let me know thanks guys !

First thing I would check is head light fuse.
Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs

then try the grounds on the front panel  ??  or the switch?

The Englishman hit it right on the head.  I'd try the switch.  They are found in so many models at the salvage yard...keep one on hand anyway.  I have a few here in my garage.  It is a little trick taking it out.  You have to reach up under the instrument pane and with you thumb, depress the little button on the housing of the switch and the knob stem come right out.  Then unscrew the big nut.
