Video of my Iraq deployment
« on: September 03, 2008, 05:26:19 pm »
Hey guys and gals, I thought I would post up my video I created from some of my pictures I took in Iraq from my deployment in 2005.  By the way, turn the speakers up!

As the title of one of the songs within your awesome piece states, That's Something To Be Proud Of.  Even though we may not be proud of our Commander in Chief, for all the service men and women over there representing this great country, my hat's off to ya and I am dang proud of your service.

On another note, my dad has hundreds of slides from 'Nam I remember watching his slide shows as a little kid.  I haven't seen any of them in 30 yrs though.  Even today he's having a hard time with his experiences from then--just recently was put on 100% disability (PTSD)-- 40 yrs after I was born, on which day he received his honorable discharge from the Marine Corp--that's after he was shot 4 times.  I had many medical problems when I was born which is why he received his discharge--he has told me on numerous occassions that I saved his life, allowing him to pull out of the jungle in '67.
