In my opinion it would look perfect if you just repaired it, prefer the long bed! But aesthetics is a subjective matter...

Anyways, it'll be nice to see your work w/ the old truck when you'll get to it, it's maybe even rustier than my '78 K10.

It reminds me a lot of my 77 when I started it. you ought to do it up like the stepside and make them a matched pair

I hope to do a blazer to match my c20 one day

Hey there I actually have a 1976 GMC C15 short bed with a 350 you don't see very many of them around for sale or just in general. It is green and pretty clean looking just wanted to tell you. Sorry I haven't ever looked or wrote in forums before.

Update: This truck has been relegated to donor status for my newly acquired 1980 short bed fleetside (see thread "Twins!). Plans for the short bed fleetside will be posted soon.
