Team, On the brakes...If you adjust the star wheel out until the drum has just a slight drag while it's spun, this will get you close. Assuming everything is working correctly, the brakes will self-adjust from there.
On the pinion angle, we have covered that before. Do a search in this section. You don't need a flat surface, the height the front is lowered has no effect. The pinion angle is the the comparison of the output shaft to the pinion shaft. The weight needs to be on the axle while your doing this. Check it out & if you can't find the answer you need ...ask.
