Did you check out this one?http://store.73-87chevytrucks.com/merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=7&Product_Code=SGT80&Category_Code=73-87UHoodI don't see how a shop could match that price for a custom X-pipe dual exhaust. Even if they could you still wouldn't have mandrel-bent pipes. My guess is that it will require a little reworking to get a perfect fit, like all things do. But as soon as the emissions test requirement sunsets on my year model, I'm gonna rip my single exhaust and cat off and replace it with that one.
>when you refer to downtubes do you mean the very last exit pipe after the muffler,if this is not included are they expensive?"The cutting required would be at the back where the rear tubes connect. If you cut them they will still slip into the muffler">i am guessing that for the short bed the cutting would occur along the section with the penciled in 21" (back pipe)"If you have narrower down tubes you would have to cut them where the tubes go into the X pipe as stated on the instructions">just need further clarification on downtubes ?is there a side or rear exit option or just one choice?thanks
