73-87 rallys on a 58-66 ?
« on: June 18, 2009, 01:32:13 am »
will a stock 8" 6 lug rally from a 73-87 fit on the older chevy/gmc trucks
from 58-66?

were the stock 8" rallys the same all throughout the years 73-87 (up to 91 for sub/blaz) or were there variations along the way?

thanks

Pretty much standard along the way.  15" Pre-disc brake stock rims may not clear the front rotors.  I had a set of 6 lug 15X8 on my 1966, looked great...

thanks-

i was looking to put them on a 65 2wd. someone just told me that on the 73-91 series rallys about mid way (mid 1980's ?) there were some sort of tabs around the hub opening that would need to filed in order to clear the hub on a 58-66 type truck. any ideas?
