Radio Wiring

I got a donor truck the other day 86 c-10 and pulled the radio out and it is diffrent wiring than my 81 that I am putting the radio in is there a diagram to tell me how it is wired...I have looked everywhere

The power plug should be the same.  Differences would be Stereo versus non-stereo, 4 speaker, 2 speaker or single speaker in the center of the dash for a mono AM or AM-FM.

chevyman, what colors are the wires in the old harness and how many, and what are colors of wire in new harness and wire count
I wired a front and rear set of speakers to both the early and late harnesses to bench test radios and am currently rewiring my truck radio harness from scratch

I will have to wait till I get home but the plugs to the radio were completley diffrent and the old one only had one plug the new one has 3 plugs that went to rear
