.443/.465 is lift not duration  ;)

duration would be some were around 200-220* @ .050" lift

unless you know what springs are in there... my first thought woudl be to up-grade the valve springs.. so you know whats in there..
stock lift was less then .400" on alot of these engines..
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-174001/  these will allow you to handle up to .490" lift

and yes this stuff adds up.

Shoot, I have no idea. I'll have to get my boyfriend to check it out when we pull the motor I guess. LoL. I was really only wantin to fix what was wrong with the motor such as the pushrods and the rear main seal this way I don't spend an arm and a leg.... But with this new cam, I don't know now.  ???

understood..

i woudl get the push rods and oil leak fixed.. save the cam swap for a later date.. give you time to get springs and other stuff linded up and your truck back up and runnning.

oil pan gasket can be swap in truck if its 4wd..  if its actually the main you can do it in the truck.. though it will be a $#@%.. doing it on your back..

Yeah I have done the oil pan gasket 3 times already. 1 with just a new gasket. Didn't work. Bought a new oil pan. Didn't work. Then used silicone and new gasket and loc tite on the bolts. Didn't solve the leak. So it has to be the rear main. Yeah, I don't think I want to do it since my trucks so high off the ground it would be a b*@#! to do. So we were just gonna take it out that way I can go ahead and repaint the block and heads and go thru the motor to see what all is there and if anything else is screwed up. But I really don't wanna have to screw with this motor again for a while after we put it back in, that's why I was contemplating goin ahead and doin it all at once but man it's addin up. Might need to get a loan out LMAO.

your looking at close to 600-700 in parts roughly...
bearings,
gaskets
timing chain,
valve spring set
piston rings
push rods

granted it can be done for less.. pendign what make the priority list and what doesnt.....dont for get to add 100-150 or so for broken/loss stuff, fluid and gernal misc stuff, new plugs/wire be a good idea pending condition of current set.

Yeah, so far I have replaced the oil pan, oil pan gasket, spark plugs, oil change, and that's about it. Set the timing where it lopes pretty decently. But shoot, All I wanna do is drive it again LOL. I got it in October, drove it for a few days and its been parked ever since. Pissed me off to see it just sittin there! So hopefully we can get this ball rollin before too long!  :)
