Should I or Should I Not
« on: July 22, 2009, 10:45:19 pm »
Well here is my dilemma i have two truck 1 is a 79 GMC shortbed fleetside 2wd  and the other is a 79 Chevy Silverado shortbed fleetside 2wd . Well my plan is to keep the Silverado stock per i already have my other truck as a Custom truck project with bigger plans for it . But I was thinking of lowering it 2 in the front and 2.5 in the rear with 295/50/15 all four corners . Well so far some people have advised me to keep it stock height and use stock size tires also
I'm asking for input please  Thanks Gerardo
I want to do the poll thing but don't have a clue how

I say lift it ::)
but yeah i think you should drop it if anything just to level it out me personally my 86 had stock tire in the front and 31 or something like that in the rear lol don't know why i wanted it but just did it. more people want to race then for some reason

here is a pic of my 80 with just about what u have in mind. I like it and get compliments on its how it sits. i think my tires are 275/50/15 if i remember right. the rear is now slightly lower than in the pic. the front was lowered 2" and the back is probably about 3" now. i don't know exactly how much, because i used lowering shackles and removed some leafs from the spring pack since it had the hd spring option.
