Trim On Tailgate
« on: December 09, 2009, 11:21:47 am »
Does anyone know here I can find a trim panel like the one below, my truck didnt come with one and I like how they look. What would be involved in installing one? I figure drilling a few holes or is it held on by tape? Also I looked in   Truck and didnt see anything like this in there, so is this pretty much  junkyard only thing?

Thanks,
Tim

I've got one you can have but I'm in Illinois. It's off an 82, but looks like the one in the pic

83 citation - 2.5L Four on the Floor!
88 sierra - reman 350 700r4 "Eleanor"
All normal practicality and rational money handling goes out of the window when it comes to my truck.

You might do a search on ebay for chevy tailgate panel.
I've seen those panels new for $400 or so. They can get expensive! There's always a complete tailgate or two on there as well, but shipping can run the cost up ..
