Welcome from New Hampshaa USA.
Like any vehicle they have typical or common issues. Not sure how rust is there? here in the north east that is the biggest problem we face. The 6.2 diesels are an OK motor, not over powered by any means! If it has lasted this long with no issues its probably one of the good ones. I have heard of head gasket issues with them but not so much in the recent years. I am sure allot of that has to do with there are not as many around anymore, plus the ones that had issues have been retired or swapped for a gas motor. Also know several guys that have had to have the injection pumps rebuilt. Again that is a common trait with any diesel when the milage gets up there. They wear out or leak after a while.

Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs

Hey man thanks so much for replying

well the rust isnt to bad up here in the north island as it is hot, tropical at times and winters only bring rain, no snow but in the south island it snows alot and they get alot of rin fll so worse there with salt put on the roads. this truck is owned by an old guy who has a total of 9 american cars n trucks and it has done 112000km so not much at all, he has had it for 7 years .im seeing it 2moro so hope its good.i just hate when people say its mint or really good and you get there to discover a rusty bogged time bomb you know>??

cheers dude and i keep you posted
