My Old Blue 87 Chevy 4x4
« on: February 10, 2010, 11:42:13 am »
I posted here awhile back but was unable to post any pics...soooo I thought I'd try it again. Since then, I gave old blue a tranny rebuild, front & rear axle rebuild, transfer case rebuild, rebuilt 350, and a 2" lift kit. I'm now in the process of installing edelbrock shorty headers before bringing old blue to have a dual exhaust installed.

....almost forgot, I now reside in TX just south of Dallas and north of Austin. I'm actually restoring this truck so I can haul my 64 Chevy II Nova to car shows. I was forced to rebuild the 350 since the valve guides/seals were shot in two cylinders, among other things...and I'm actually working on a 383 stroker with vortec heads so I can have more pulling power. I'll probably have the build crank out around 420hp, and maybe just maybe replace the rearend with a bullet proof rearend.

Hello from Ill!

All normal practicality and rational money handling goes out of the window when it comes to my truck.
