van d60 rear?

A friend of mine thats into jeeps said a guy he knows has a few d60 rear axles and said they came from 4x4vans. He has been asking me if i want one but i dont believe one will work without mods and what exactly it came out of. Can anyone give me any info please?

You need to move the spring perches, and I am not sure if they are the same overall width?
