Throttle Cables

I'd like install an aftermarket throttle cable for my 85 K-10 that has a holley 670 avenger.  I bought the Mr. Gasket universal one and it's garbage.  Anyone know of another good kit to use?

Also...how have you all mounted the throttle return springs with the 700R4 Holley Bracket?
