I am going to miss that car! But I think the profit it made me, and the use I got out of it for 5 years will make it all better!

Bought from the original owners. Always serviced and repair at the Toyota dealer.
A 1991 Camry with 141,000 miles, new radiator, all new brakes, fairly new tires.
Paid. $ 400
Drove it for a two years, had to put a windshield in it because of a rock hitting it. $ 120
Plus oil changes and general repairs. A new set of tires.
Had two parts cars given to me. One of them had four nice almost new all season tires on it.
Bought a parts car with 4 brand new meaty snow tires on it. $ 100
Total invested $ 620
Kept the new snow tires, and sold the $100 parts car with my 3/4 worn out tires on it for. $ 300
Total invested now $ 320
Drove it for a couple more years did the basics another set of brakes, master cylinder,
timing belt, etc. etc.
Let my now ex girlfriends son borrow it. It got rearended, and then sideswiped two days later.
Got $1,200 plus $255 for not taking a rental car out of that deal. $1,455
Profit $1,135
Kept the car for free, sold it tonight for $ 250
Total profit made. $1,385
Plus put almost 65,000 miles on it
