Finally finished the back of the truck
« on: March 29, 2010, 09:16:11 pm »
Due to the body drop I needed to thin the tailgate & make rear bumper brackets. Well it took a few years to get around to it, but last fall I spent the time to do it (just realized over the weekend I didn't have any pic's of it). Just need to get my sticker guy to make the Oldsmobile letters in the correct truck size & font :D
I cut the bottom off of the license plate pocket & moved the plate up so the bottom was near level with the bumper.

I made a filler panel out of 1/16" metal with a lip to tuck under the rear bed sill to close off the gap.

Just a little tire rubber under there!

Sweet!
Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs
