First off, Lemme say; Bad  truck sir! I was oogling the engine pics and noticed you have a 1 row all aluminum radiator similar to the one I purchased for my rebuild. ((??)) If so, What modifications did you have to do to mount it. More simply, how did you mount it [or secure it] to the radiator support...  ???

I am trying to figure out the best solution for mine.

Thanks guys for all the kind words..

That radiator is a "Be Cool" for the 1987 Chevrolet R10. The Fans are Flex-a-lite. The truck was a small block truck originally so I had the upper radiator hold down clamps that were part of the fan shroud already. When I mounted the radiator, the only thing I had to do was remove 2 screws that were keeping the radiator from mounting flush against the support. They were insignificant screws so it was not biggie to remove them. Then I used the upper hold downs from the original setup and it locked the radiator in place perfectly.

The entire build is at: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/showthread.php?t=279281

By the way, I got the truck back from the painter late last week. It looks better now with a Hot Rod Black / clear coat over it. I'll get some pics first chance I get and post them here.
