Coolant Leak

I have a small coolant leak that just started. It is coming down the passenger side at the transmission bell housing. I can not find wheres its coming from. Its not much coolant and the radator is still full. I look for an hour yesterday and could not find wheres it was coming from and its driving me nuts. 87 suburban 4wd

does it leak all the time or just when driving?  I'd check the around intake and heads to see if gravity is playing tricks on you.

I will check it. I think its driping from somewhere else as well. it was right after I drove it.

You might use a coolant system pressure tester to find it.  I found a mysterious coolant leak that way recently.  I borrowed one from Autozone and pumped up the system with the attached bulb and voila--coolant started seeping out from my leak.  Running the engine until it gets hot enough to leak and then looking around is no where near as easy.

Is it one you put on as the radator cap? I called auto zone and thats the only one they had.

Yes, that's what I used.  Put it on in place of the cap and pump up the system with the attached bulb.  It has a gage for watching the pressure drop, but you already know there's a leak so a drop shouldn't be a surprise.
