You may have 4:56 gears in the diffs. Or your not going 55. with 3:73 gears and 3000rpm will put you over 70mph or there abouts.

Still working on it . The gears are 3.73's 100% sure.

I'm VERY interested to see what you find out as I have the same EXACT problem. 1974 k10 , 350ci, 373 gears, np203, 31" tires, runs well but at 2000+ rpms at 43-45 mph and its slow as a dog. I couldnt burn tire if my life depended on it. I just bought it recently and thought it would be much more powerful than this. It does shift through all gears but tranny may be slipping slightly, i cant tell. I will be starting a seperate thread though because it broke down this morning and wont move in gear. Makes a spline slip noise and just rolls even if in park.
