Most of the newer trucks that have aluminum driveshafts are thin and will explode.  If you are drag racing it, I would get a steel one.

yeah it is alot thinner than the stock 3" ds from my 82 c10. dang this has got me thinking now i just got a estimate for a new 4" steel driveshaft and ouch it gonna set me back $500-$550. so now im looking for a stock 4" that i can get shortened and balanced for $80. because i was told im gonna spin my 3" ds too fast and break it, what do you think?
