The clear coat is starting to go away on the side of my truck.I have had people tell me that with some wet sanding and more clear coat this can be fixed to look pretty good.Is this true? Thanks

If its not holding up there is a problem with adhesion. It needs to be taken off completely. If your going to do that you will be better off spraying new color too.

Blazin is correct.  If you have a problem with clear coat on certain area's of a paint job, the best way to fix is a complete strip and re-coat.  If you are looking for cheap, then fixing the problem area's will work, but you run the risk of another spot peeling after you fix the first spot.
