« on: August 21, 2010, 04:26:52 pm »
Hi guys, new member here.

I replaced my a/c compressor and dryer on my 85 scottsdale today and converted system to 134a. What I dont know is how many cans of freon I will need to charge my system. Any insight would be appriciated and thanks in advance.

You should flush your lines, evaporator, and condenser with nitrogen. How are you planning on leak testing it, and vacuuming it down to clear out any contaminants?
As far as the amount it should be printed on a sticker somewhere under the hood.
