All great ideas and comments. I appreciate everyones contributions. I really like the switch in the ashtray idea but how would I go about it. I mean, I would run a wire to what side of the batt off one post of the switch and then the other post on the switch run to what post of the solenoiod? Just playing with the idea if the $12 ignition switch doesn't fix my prob. I really don't want to get into the steering wheel/column thing but I might just be pysching myself out on it.
I've learned it's best to have Vile show you how to properly wire any sort of electrical doodad. But yeah, I would love to have a little switch box in my ash tray. 3 switches, fuel, water, time travel, then a push button start. It'd be like starting a plane. Would probably get old after a while though.
I need to go to AutoZone and get one of them neutral safety/ignition switches.
