blinker issue
« on: September 06, 2010, 09:07:48 am »
86 Silverado

Everyone once in a while my blinkers will both be on even when I dont have the blinkers on for left or right turn.

They show the blinker lights to be on with dim light through the two arrows which point which side has the blinkers on.

The right blinker works well when I am useing it, while the left blinker blinks slowly.

Not sure where to start as i have no wiring diagram.

any help is appreciated!

Sounds like a ground problem

Sounds like a ground problem

X2 on the bad ground.  It is most likely in the front, grounds on the core support behind the grill, at least that is where my problem was found on two different trucks in the past.  My $.02

There are wiring diagrams in the technical section.
