Good progress on a great build. The frame looks awesome.

got a couple hours into it tonight.
got the bumper and front housing off the frame and finished rock guarding the frame


heres the housing and bumper


took the little bracket thingy of the old frame had to weld it up as it was pretty rusted.


got the motor mount brackets in place. just gotta get the mounts.





and i cleaned up and painted the front of the cab.


1984 shorty, sbc350 4bolt th350 np203 Dana 44 front 12bolt rear, 4"lift, 35inch Ground Hawgs.

very nice what paint did you use on the frame and cab firewall rustoleum?

its a rubberize rock guard. i'll try to remember to take a pic of the can.

today i yanked the engine transmission/case.







also got the exhaust sitting in place in the new frame, just have to bolt it up. and bolt up the hangers.

got some more work done,,

picked up some paint for the cab, not planning on doing a full paint-job till next summer. i guess the paint was a little off. but is better then white on blue.


swims350 this is the stuff i used on the frame


got the tank mounted


rear end with new u-bolts and new shocks.


pic with the front housing installed with new u-bolts and my old shocks cleaned up and painted, engine tranny and transcase sitting in place.




whats left of the original white truck.


cab sitting in place






set of buckets for the truck, still up in the air if i'm gonna use them .


cab with door on ,




and truck with rad support, fender installed.


 and again this is where im at, more to come..........

Sweet exhaust stack....or is it a snorkel? ;D
