chevy rear out of a 71

i found a chevy posi rear out of a 71 truck for 300 its a leaf truck with a 5 lug its a 12 bolt with a 3:08 posi i dont know if thats a good gear to have is it worth it. I am running a 28 inch tall tire an th400 with a 2500 stall speed  ???

to me 300 is a little high i paid 300 for a matching set of 3/4 axles. but why 2500 stall?

well its a c10 an i am not buying just the rear i am getting a little more its the whole compleat frame is the 5lug disk swap for the frunt i have a 69 i could use it for.

Its a 82 it will have disk brakes up front. Man I'm confused what you are saying

That is a little confusing.  I think he's saying he wants the front disc setup for his '69 and the rear axle for his '82.  The donor is a '71.  Right?

so you want to take the 71 and swap parts for 2 of your trucks the 82 and 61
