can a cab fit in a shortbed?

im going to look at a 73 cab and i was wondering if a cab would fit in a bed so i can get it home? if not im going to have to get a trailer i guess.

I think I've seen pic of that done.   I personally dont know about a 73-87 cab, but i do know a 62 c10 cab will fit in a 77 shortbed.

perfect lol, it saves getting a trailer, im getting the vin tonight, so i can make sure i can get it transfered to me and see how much insurance will be when its a truck.thanks
