Overflow tank
« on: November 18, 2010, 07:46:18 pm »
Hey guys :) My old overflow tank was cracking apart so i bought a nice looking one from jegs.
The jegs one has 2 tubes coming off of it so im not quite sure how to set it up. My old overflow tank only had one hose going into it so im not sure if i should plug up the 2nt tube on the new tank or if theres another hose on the radiatior to hook up to it. Heres a picture of the new one...

The longer tube goes to the top of the tank and the shorter one is right at the bottom of the tank.
How should i set it up?

Connect the overflow hose to the short one. The one that goes to the top is to vent air as coolant enters the sealed tank...
