Are Kelly Safari DTR tires any good?
« on: November 08, 2010, 09:05:36 pm »
I saw a set of 33x12.5-15s for sale and the guy says they are almost new--is it worth getting them, he's asking $375 obo.

Any feedback appreciated.

I picked up a pair at a swap meet and ran them for almost a year.  I liked them as far a traction off road, but they were a little too loud for my tastes.  I put almost 10,000 miles on them and they had barely worn at all.  They handle loads very well, ad the tread, though big, is not wishy washy like other mts or mud tires.  i would recommend them for a 4x4, but not for a 2wd like mine.
