I'm in the same "boat" Buddy! You described what I'm doing except for the 6" lift (2.5 for me) My wife hasnt parked in the garage in three years (she drives the new cars) I hear about it every winter. Hang in there, I am. Just do as much as you can when you can. When I'm done I'm going to run her over! lol
