tailgate emblem

Ok, I found a GMC dually tailgate for my 75 Chevy truck. How do I remove the GMC emblem from the stainless insert? I'm prob. missing something obvious, but I cant figure it out. ???

bolts on the back of the insert.

there is a second piece behind the insert bolted through the tail gate (3 large phillips head screws)
