I know this is "73-87" chevy trucks .co m, but I also know that many of you own other types of vehicles, and that many knowledgeable people lurk around this site. So I thought I'd ask.
My brother in law has had to take a bit of a downgrade from a much newer truck, to a 1998 suburban. Now to me, yeah its a bit of a downgrade but not too much of one because I respect different vehicles for what they are. I mean he does too, but I'm just past caring what others think about what I drive. And he's only 22 and all his cop buddies probly drive something newer, and he has to pull up and park next to em in his dad's hand me down 98 burb. So I'm having a little sympathy for him. Oh and the reason is, he's having a third kid, so he just wouldn't be able to hack the payments anymore. And still have a dime left over, anyway.
So long story short, I've been helping him fix up the burb. We have accomplished much on it already. Painted much of the trim, really brought it back to life. But its missing one of the little treble/fade knobs, and one of the larger tuner/volume type knobs. So what other cars shared knobs with such a vehicle? I'm having trouble finding people willing to part with just knobs, instead of the whole radio. So if I knew a few more cars that had it, I might be able to scrounge up some new knobs on ebay or somewhere used like that.
