Worst case scenario your a few inches low and you have to put the cut out flares on.  Your choice on lift, some like tucked look others like their tires to never enter the wheel well.

By tucked I meant crammed in under her lol. My main thoughts on lift are, should I just go for 12" all springs and leave the shackle flips for a just in case I come up a little low? Or would you all say that the flips would be important. Also I have heard mixed reviews on certain brands of springs...... any truth? I Have talked to a guy at ORD and I know this can all be possible for my budget but I really just need to decide on a "kit" to assamble.

So my new wheels came in today!! Well all but the steelies. I will upload some pix later on tonight. I also got a call from our warehouse in which we get our nitto tires,"hey sorry man but we only have 4 of the 40 13.50 17's that you had ordered 8 of...... And it will be a while before we see more as they are back ordered with no ETA" So with the ultimate dilemma on my hands I did what any respectable man would do and ordered 8  37 13.50 17's and will have them by Friday! So looks like I will be barring some rubber on the rims Saturday afternoon ;-)   Just thought I'd give a little update and see if anyone here now has any better suggestions on lift size as now I only need to have enough room for 37'S. Thanks in advance

I have 7" of lift and 37's clear just fine. If you went with 8" it would be perfect. Doing a 52" spring swap in the front with the correct shackles & a shackle flip in the rear with 4" lift springs would be a sweet setup. ORD sells everything you would need.

I wanted to add, you need a kit to run 52" springs up front. These guy's should have everything you need: http://diy4x.com/

K20 wolf: To do the 52" front would you say that the 7.25" shackles are the ones to go with? And What would that end up giving? 8"+/-

If they are new springs you should get around 6" of lift (With the shackles), then add a zero rate and you should be right on the money. http://www.offroaddesign.com/catalog/Zero%20Rates.htm

Sounds good, my last worry would be if i wanted to go to the 40's in fall when i get the next sale........ do you think 8 would still be sufficient without needing so much zip cutting? or would you just go bigger right off the bat?

I would not go bigger than 8", you will have too high of a center of gravity. There are literally tons of guys running 40's with less lift than that. Taller is not better.
