Goodies!
« on: March 01, 2011, 08:30:55 pm »
Got in from an out of town job today, and found my shackle flip kit from diy4x.com, and my wheel spacers waiting for me.

The wheel spacers aren't too spectacular, but the shackle flip kit looks freaking beastly. Welds look awesome! Even has their logo lasered into it.

Too bad it'll be a week or two before I have the time to install it all. Out of town work is killing my time at home right now.

I'll post pics of them tomorrow.
There are two tools needed, duct tape and WD40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD 40.

Here's some pics of the burb. Sorry, but I'm not much on stopping to take pics once I get started working.

When I brought it home.

Under the hood when it came home.

With the wheels and tires.

With the front cut-out flares and shackle flip installed.

With rear cut-out flares installed.

The 350 that's under the hood now, with a fresh th400 behind it.

Thanks,

Still have a long way to go before it gets to where I want it. If it ever does, lol. Got it running and driving now. Pretty much new stuff from the radiator to the u-joints, new steering parts, rebuilt front axles & front wheel bearings. Haven't been into the diff's yet, not quite sure how crazy I want to go with these, or just upgrade them to a D60 and full floater (10bolt and semi-floater now) as I break these. I have a few minor, I hope, electrical issues to figure out before I get it tagged and inspected. Gonna start building the front winch bumper, the rear bumper with swing away tire carrier, and roof rack rack before too long. Then I'll either camo wrap it, or slap some paint on it. Nothing too fancy, as she's being built to use, not look pretty.

I much like the improved stance, looks way better.
