Temp Guage
« on: April 12, 2011, 10:35:52 pm »
Hello im new to this forum and new to owning a truck that is older than me, but i have watched my father put Chevy together my whole life so now its my turn..i have a 79 chevy k-10 with a 350 ci with a turbo 400 tranny. Just looking for some info on where do i plug in my temp gauge at? When i bought the truck a few months back the temp gauge is not connected to the block. Any help would be appreciated.

thank you, James

Typically the sensor is threaded into the drivers side cylinder head.

Mine is between the 1 and 3 exhaust port. You can see the convoluted tubing leading up to the doubled nuts.
